Evangelion

I wanted to create a piece inspired by the impactful masterpiece, Evangelion. I was particularly drawn to the sense of space created by the backgrounds, which led me to choose this theme. In the series, the Evangelion units are depicted as well-maintained robots, and most 3D recreations feature clean textures. To take a different approach, I imagined Unit-01 left behind in a post-apocalyptic environment, unable to deploy and weathered over time. I felt this concept would be fresh and intriguing. I also incorporated a narrative element into the piece: although abandoned after the end of the world, I added a scene where Unit-01 opens its eyes again, giving a sense of an open-ended story.
