I started working on "Tetsuo," the main character of the Japanese animation "AKIRA," in real-life. In the last part of the animation, I expressed the scene where Tetsuo mutates because he couldn't overcome his anger. The key was to capture the visual impact as a stationary three-dimensional body, and we focused on the direction, posture, and overall outline of the Tetsuo arm.
In addition, in the process of turning 2D animation into a 3D real character, actor Ken Leung was virtually recruited. Among his early works, he fell in love with his unique facial expressions in Rush Hour, and was convinced that he was the perfect person for Tetsuo.
