Facial Animation
I wanted to create a facial animation that conveys deep emotional nuances related to a father. Inspired by one of my favorite movies, About Time, I used the sound from the protagonist’s father’s wedding speech, my favorite scene. I reimagined this joyful audio in a somber setting—a funeral-like stereotypical space—to depict a grieving father overwhelmed with sadness over the loss of his son.

Weight Animation
Through a doll desperately trying to block a door to escape from someone on the other side, I aimed to showcase movements involving the pushing and pulling of a heavy object.

Jump Animation
I illustrated various jumping motions through the doll’s frantic attempts to evade a hand bursting through the door.

Body Mechanics
I depicted a dramatic struggle between the doll and the girl who finally catches it. By alternating the focus between the two characters in different cuts, I sought to create a thrilling and dynamic sequence filled with energy and humor.
