Initially, I aimed to depict 'Kenshin,' the protagonist of the anime 'Rurouni Kenshin,' which I enjoyed watching. However, I realized that translating an anime character into a live-action format left a lot of uninteresting aspects. As I continued working, I developed a desire to express the character in a more vibrant way, leading to the creation of a new derivative work. Thoughts like, "What if Kenshin were sexy and masculine?" and "What if I combined Yakuza elements with Kenshin?" guided me. This process of blending various references made the project even more enjoyable and creative.
